We issue a precautionary boil water notice any time we have a loss of water or the pressure drops below 20psi. When this happens there is a potential for harmful bacteria to infiltrate the water lines. We do not know if that has happened until we send water samples to the health department to be tested. Again this is a precautionary measure to protect you and your families in the event of water loss or extremely low pressure. Boil all drinking water for 1 minute before consumption Advisory will remain in effect until samples can be taken and tested by the Ms state department of Health.
